So, I've never heard of this moaning. What caused you to stop? 50 miles in the morning is quite huge; I wouldn't give that up without a big struggle. Don't you ride at all anymore? I can't imagine stopping even though everybody and their grandma passes me now.

That's how I am jogging. People pass me *walking*. I had to decide I didn't care. Sometimes I get a little bummed when someone is obviously older than me and faster, but since the number of people older than me is shrinking steadily, I figure this won't be a problem much longer.

Spinal Stenosis. Surgery two years ago. Scammed my way into 24 PT sessions with a woman who was also a Pilates instructor. Best deal ever - changed my life.

Hey, do a lot a research when going for artificial parts. I've been reading bad things lately about recalls and stuff.

Oh great...

Yup, I have been thru everyone PT you can think of, legal, not so legal, covered by insurance, not covered, and then some...

Not to gloat (funny, eh?), but I'd take yours in a heartbeat (depending on locations of projections). Sounds like you had a good outcome though, which is nice--I've learned not to hold it against others that have recovered long after I was placed by multiple docs in "failed back syndrome"...

Oh it's a crapshoot. I just read that a large percentage of back surgeries don't help and some hinder. Mine got me to mediocre, which means I'm willing to put up with shit just to do stuff. I still can't stand for more than 15 minutes before my feet fall asleep. A worthwhile trade though. Me and ibuprophen are just tight as can be. And don't forget Mr. Icebag. Wish you better times ahead.
